I'm still have occasional contact with lots of my buds from Ladue, mostly through emails these days, including: Kathy Frerichs, Debbie Woolf, Freddy Berger, Larry Samuels,Bud Kolbrener, Dick Muchnick, Jody Gillerman and Patty Kligman (class of 66). John Hutkin and I are still very best of friends and we hang out when I'm in St. Louis visiting my Mom (who still lives in our old homestead in Chevy Chase!) When back in "the hood" you can also find me playing tennis with Mike Lazaroff, or having lunch with my good friend Gary Gerchen.

I have many fond memories of Ladue …and East Ladue and even Central ! Endless early “growing up” adventures from age 5 on… with Hutkin, Richardson,Fry, Halpern, & Raisher. Some high school highlights include the Four Tops. front row seats with Kathy Frerichs. Racing around the back roads of west county with my sports car buds, especially Bly and MP. Learning how to race preparing my car ..and other inportant discoveries out at Kolbrener’s barn. Going to see Bob Dyan live with Betsy Sachar …Hmmm, that one could be just an old fantasy! Ram’s Dens after getting knocked silly on the gridiron and getting world class “life” coaching and encouragement from Velten …who taught me its not the big who eat the small … it’s the fast that eat the slow! … sometimes .

I am a late entry due to a conflict that just cleared up. I am really looking forward to reconnecting with everyone. Suzanne and I have loved living in Denver for 30 years. We have three boys, Zander, 28, who heads a business unit for The Atlantic in Washington, D.C., Davey, 24, who works for Sesame Street in NYC, and Ozzie, 22,who is a recent grad from Occidential College in LA. I still happily head the consulting firm I founded 23 years ago, after stints on Capitol Hill and as city editor of the Rocky Mountain News. We have been fortunate to have had an immensely enjoyable ride these past four decades. Can't wait to see you all!

It would have to be June 6, 1968-our graduation night. As happy as we all were to graduate, the death of Robert Kennedy that morning taught me the meaning of the word bittersweet.
