After majoring in Journalism at Mizzou, I worked in broadcasting (Philadelphia, St. Louis and Denver), public relations and now I write about home/garden design for magazines and newspapers.  I'm married to Michael, a wind energy researcher/analyst and former college professor.  We have two wonderful daughters (ages 17 & 22) and enjoy living in the  Denver area.
